Starting the New Year with the basics of skin care

On Thursday, January 5, we will hear from Chris Hansen – our Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay. A note from Chris: This being a New Year, I thought it would be a good time to talk about the basics of skin care.  Although we have numerous skin care "packages" for each skin type, the basic regimen is the same for each.

For those easy beauty solutions (where a simple routine is best), we offer our Botanical EffectsⓇ skin care.  This has the three most basic steps -- Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize.  Likewise, our Clear ProofⓇ Acne System provides the same three steps -- but with an added step for the Acne Treatment Gel.

All of our skin care solutions have these basic steps, yet for some there may be an added step to ensure we're doing the best for our skin.  I'll cover all of this on January 5.  (And, of course, there will be at least three prize drawings at the end!)  Don't miss it!

Temporary or Forever?

CPA Siobhan Murphy of Thrive Business Group is talking tax strategy.

Tax strategy or tax planning is a proactive process in which a variety of strategies are used to plan tax savings into the finances of an individual and/or business. There are two core types of tax savings strategies – temporary and forever savings. Siobhan will be explaining the difference and giving several examples of each.

Guests are welcome to attend the meeting, Nov. 10 at noon at the Gateway Centre in Bellingham.
