Although the damage done to a person suffering from alcoholism can be obvious, the hurt to those around them can be harder to see. Children of alcoholics develop coping mechanisms - both helpful and challenging as they grow up into adults. Virginia Malmquist, Counselor / Therapist, will talk about the tendencies people develop and how to mend those old hurts to overcome them as adults.
